Your support of The Big Walk will help build a nation of great Kiwi kids!

The Big Walk is a vehicle for active participation and visible commitment to youth development by government, corporates and communities alike.

As a not-for-profit campaign partnering with The Foundation for Youth Development (FYD), we rely on the financial assistance of the public, corporates, trusts and foundations through sponsorships and donations to deliver our promise to the students involved.

67% of New Zealanders (2.4 million) think more highly of a company and 54% feel more loyal to a company that supports a charity or worthy cause.

FYD could not inspire so many young Kiwis to reach their potential without the generosity of corporate partners, sponsors and members of the public to fund our programmes.

We are seeking New Zealand companies and corporations to work with us to ensure that every Kiwi kid can grow up to be everything they can be. Corporate partnerships can also provide positive benefits to companies, including tax deductions, a high public profile and good employee morale. Employees can actively get involved with our campaign through mentoring and community projects – giving something back to their community.
